The maps are designed to be clear and have prompt points (small black circles) at key junctions or tricky sections. The prompts relate to a written description of the routes. It is quite possible that you will not need to resort to the prompts simply using the map to navigate. It is recommended that you take an OS map or other guide book out with you as a back up and it will also help you get from where you are staying to the start. Also highlighted on the maps are points of interest and attractions (small circles with letters). Please take some time to visit these attractions, the Island abounds with wonderful stopping places, a good excuse for a rest and lovely things to do and see.
