This
commission for Godshill Model Village was a challenge. Most of my work is
A5 or A4 but this time the brief was to produce a 3 foot by 6 foot map!
I eventually drew the artwork in 10 sections, scanned them and created a
composite image. The final UV fast print, by Vision Graphix was placed in
a smart wooden frame constructed by staff at the model village and erected
near the entrance to give an taste of what lies behind the walls. It was
certainly an interesting job and a good example of how illustration can
be used to attract the public to your business. The logo was also designed
by Potting Shed Cartoons. |
